MileParke is comprised of an award-winning husband and wife team, Mike and Perla, whose passion for animals is evident in every photograph they take.  The Kinnes specialize in photographing pets, wildlife and nature in their natural environment. The Kinnes love for animals evolved as they started adopting abused and unwanted dogs and cats shortly after they were married in 1990. In addition to finding homes for stray animals on their own, they also worked with several no-kill shelters and organizations in order to place stray dogs and save them from euthanasia at the hands of county facilities. The Kinnes are firm supporters of spaying and neutering in order to reduce the unwanted pet overpopulation. It is their goal to someday open a sanctuary for unwanted older dogs and cats where they can live the rest of their lives in peace and comfort.
The Kinnes are donors and proud supporters of numerous pet and wildlife organizations. They routinely work with non-profit organizations on fundraisers and they donate a portion of their proceeds in order to support their efforts.
The Kinnes currently reside in New Richmond, Ohio, with their dogs (Shaka and Ophelia) and cats (Domino, Scooter, Momma Lynx, Capt. Worm Kitty and F.L.)
The Kinnes travel nationally and internationally for assignment work as well as shoots for private clients. |
